November 21, 2024 – Explorer Pipeline Announces Alzheimer’s Association as their 2025 Partner Agency
Tulsa, Okla. (Nov. 21, 2024) – Explorer Pipeline Company (Explorer) is pleased to announce the Alzheimer’s Association as their 2025 Partner Agency.
Each year a local nonprofit is selected to receive a grant of up to $35,000 over three years from Explorer. The company believes in supporting Tulsa’s local nonprofits and providing opportunities to advance programs and services that care for our community.
“Our local nonprofit partners help us better understand the needs of our community.” said Mark Hurley, Explorer Pipeline President and CEO. “My hope is that we continue to expand this program’s reach and become better allies and advocates to make our city a better place to live and thrive for all Tulsans.”
In addition to the grant, Explorer employees will engage in volunteerism opportunities and help the organization continue its mission through advocacy. This year a total of 75 applications were received. A diverse committee of Explorer employees active in the community carefully reviewed each applicant and selected the Alzheimer’s Association.
“The Alzheimer’s Association – Oklahoma Chapter is thrilled to receive a three-year financial and volunteer commitment from Explorer Pipeline. Explorer’s continued dedication to our mission will support our efforts to provide quality care, education, and support to all Oklahomans impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.” Said Sandi Pellow, Executive Director, Alzheimer’s Association, Oklahoma Chapter.
The Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and medical conditions related to dementia through research funding. They offer a range of services, including support groups, education, and advocacy, to help those affected by these diseases and their caregivers.
