June 24, 2024 – Applications open July 1, 2024 for Explorer Pipeline’s 2025 Partner Agency Program

Nonprofits in Tulsa have the opportunity to receive up to $35,000

Explorer Pipeline, a refined products common carrier pipeline transportation company, with offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana, is calling for nonprofit applicants for its 2025 Partner Agency Program in Tulsa, OK.

Through this program, one nonprofit is selected to receive a three-year grant from Explorer Pipeline. The selected organization will receive up to $20,000 in year one, up to $10,000 in year two and up to $5,000 in year three.

“We hope that this multi-year partnership will build long lasting relationships and help the organization fulfil its mission and vision for the people they serve and the community in which we operate.” Said Mark Hurley, Explorer Pipeline President and CEO.

The annual tradition of selecting a Partner Agency allows Explorer to engage with the community and local nonprofits in meaningful and impactful ways. The benefits of this program extend beyond donations and in past years, Explorer employees have engaged in volunteerism, gained understanding about community needs and disparities, and helped the organization continue its mission through advocacy.

“Clarehouse is thrilled to be the Explorer Pipeline 2024 Partner Agency. This corporate relationship has given us the opportunity to share our mission more widely and welcome a robust source of volunteers filling crucial roles at Clarehouse. As a non-profit with a 20-year history of serving terminally ill people in need, cultivating new partnerships is a critical piece of our strategy to ensure long-term sustainability.” said Kelly Scott, Executive Director at Clarehouse. “The financial support is generous and much appreciated as we continue to serve our community and the positive energy of the Explorer employees uplifts our home and staff with their dedicated service hours.”

Interested agencies may submit applications online at expl.com/community-outreach/. The application process closes on August 31, 2024. The selected Partner Agency will be contacted on or before October 31, 2024.

Partner agencies must have 501(c)(3) status, be established before 2019 and focus on one of the following areas: health and human wellness, STEM and education, inclusion and diversity, or family and youth.

“The online application process is simple and straightforward. Explorer staff are readily available for questions. We were chosen after our 3rd application, so I encourage agencies to reapply if not successful on the first attempt. It’s well worth the effort.” said Kelly Scott, Executive Director at Clarehouse.

Previous Partner Agencies include Clarehouse, Global Gardens, Pathways, Meals on Wheels Metro Tulsa, Iron Gate, and Lindsey House.
