Terry Biehl

As Chief Financial Officer at Explorer Pipeline, the buck stops with Terry Biehl. While everyone in the company deals with numbers, units and barrels, Terry also keeps an eye on the big financial picture. In an industry as complex and unique as the pipeline industry, Terry brings insight and perspectives that ensure sound financial accountability.

With a diverse transportation-related background, including senior positions at Mazzio’s LLC, USA Truck and Geiger Ready-Mix Concrete, Terry was attracted to Explorer Pipeline for its company culture, history and the allure of working for a company that is right at his backdoor—literally. As a native of rural Missouri, Terry grew up around gasoline transportation. In fact, his childhood home is not far from Explorer’s pipeline route.

Terry is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University and a Certified Public Accountant. When he is not in the office, you can usually find Terry hunting, fishing, or spending time with family and friends.

On not backing down from a difficult situation:

Terry believes that doing good business is never a sprint; it’s a marathon. It’s something you practice every day and get better and stronger at as you go along.
