EXPLORER PIPELINE COMPANY CLOSES OPEN SEASON – PROCEEDING WITH DILUENT EXPANSION PROJECT

Tulsa, OK (August 2, 2024) – Explorer Pipeline Company (“Explorer”) announced today that it has closed its open season for a diluent expansion project and is proceeding with construction of its new project to increase the transportation capacity of a portion of Explorer’s existing system for shipments of diluent from U.S. Gulf Coast receipt points to destination points at the Irwin/Cochin Terminal in Kankakee County, Illinois and the Manhattan/Southern Lights Terminal in Will County, Illinois (“Diluent Expansion”).  The new Diluent Expansion capacity will be available to shippers on or around July 1, 2025.
