Vice President & General Counsel
Curtis Craig joined Explorer Pipeline as a corporate attorney in 1979. From 1982 to 1988, Curtis worked with the U.S. Department of Energy and in private legal practice. He rejoined Explorer as general counsel in 1988, and in 2006 was named vice president.
Curtis earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Oklahoma State University. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Tulsa.
Helping young people reach their full potential is important to Curtis. He serves on the Rotary Club of Tulsa’s committee to support and operate Camp Enterprise, a business-style retreat for high school students. Curtis has also coached several youth sports teams and was involved in helping form the Junior Comets Wrestling Club.
Three reasons why Curtis works at Explorer:
He can make a major impact on other people and on the company’s performance. He takes pride in working at a company that is a leader in its industry. And, last but not least, Explorer’s values align nicely with Curtis’ own values.
